Another day in LHC, AZ,
I am busy today with school! I had some things that I had to take of before the weekend, so it is catch up time. I hope you guys will have a nice weekend.
It is so cold here, to me anyway, 38 degrees this morning. You guys probably think that is warm. It gets up to about 59 degrees today. It is because we are still all rainy and cloudy out. Usually it would be in the mid 70's or low 80's.
On to school now.
I can tell you exactly what the challenge is with me in this school. It is not the work; I love to learn. It is the finance department. I was blocked from getting into this term because they could not find my paperwork. They finally found it, and unblocked me. I think the day before we started. Well, they are at it again. That was what I meant about having to get some stuff done before the weekend. I finally called Ginger Cameron, she is a Dean of Students for Health Sciences. She is looking into it for me. The finance dept. lost all my paperwork, again, and called me yesterday and threatened to block me out, again, because the cannot find their money and my loan, NICE!! They know more about me than I do, they have so much paperwork on me. I am even paying on my loan, what little I can, so I do not have shell shock after graduation. Other than that, I have no problems at all.
See you guys tomorrow...
Thank you,
Lara

CC2 unit 5 Q. #1
Hi you Guys,
I had the best news today. I have been working my buns off getting a re-modified mortgage for the last year. I cannot tell you how many people try to stop you in your tracks, and do not want to help you. What you hear on T.V. is just a lie. I went straight to my bank and said either you do this or you have another house on your hands. After non-stop calling (on top of school) I finally was given the number to the Vice President. I called and called, and then she actually answered her phone! She could not believe that I had been put aside (for 8 months) like that; I had my paper work and my own processor in two weeks. I have now been on a four month trial period with my new payment. Because I have never missed a payment since I built the house, I am considered true blue. I found out today they sent me my new mortgage yesterday! I finally won. I cannot believe it! Boyd, my husband, told me only 4.3% of everyone that has tried to do this has actually been helped; that is sickening!
Anyway, on to school.
After class last night, and reading it over again, I fit right into the free writing and brainstorming category. My mind goes a million miles an hour when I am thinking about stuff, and I write really fast. Then I go back and TRY to read what I wrote; then I make the list thing. I guess maybe even an informal outline too. All I know is that when I go to write my formal paper I use every aspect of my informal notes. I do not do graphs. I do not have the time for that. I like graphs in math. That is so fun. How everything meets up. I love math, I hate algebra! It should be against the law. Why don't they just say what it is? I can figure it out, but it is such a dumb waste of time. I like school all together, just not algebra.
Thanks you guys,
Lara

Hi Guys,
I missed yesterdays post, I thought my dog was getting better, but he is not. I am very scared. Today is his B-Day. He is 9. I think I am going to have to take him to a doctor. I am just so broke, and vets are so expensive.
I will get back to you with the question #1. I think I have a technique, but I need to pick. :-)...
I like some over the others.
See you in school.
Thank you,
Lara

CC2 unit 4: Q.#3
Up and At 'Em!
It did ran cat and dogs yesterday. We also get really windy here; some of my shingles are missing. I had to put out some buckets for a leaky roof. As I said, it rains so little that I know where to put them before it really starts to come down.
I like to watch The Investigators this early in the morning; this morning is an investigation on thallium poisoning. What a co-winkydink! I have seen it before, the neighbor that poisoned the people next door. He put it in their coke sitting on their back porch. The mom died, and the rest of the family took a very long time to recover. He started out by testing it on their dogs; they both died. This guy belonged to Mensa and was a chemist. Scary!
Question 4 is up. I think that this goes without saying the these sites blur lines of ownership. I have seen on Wikipedias site, at the begining, they will not publish original transcripts. It is an "opinion" site. That is why it is not considered reliable. People take from what was an original transcript and add there in-put or thoughts. I would think you would be hard pressed to find the original on a site like this. You will never know what you will get. As for the leagally owened, you can be sure that they have a entire "plagiarism law and loopholes to jump through" handbook so they cannot be sued.
Off to take my test for unit 4 then on to unit 5. Half way through already, wow!
Thank you,
Lara

CC2 unit 4; Q. # 3
Hi All,
Pearl Harbor Day! Hello WW2...
This is a weird morning in Havasu indeed. We are supposed to be getting a ton of rain. I do not know if you guys watch the Weather Chanel, but the whole South West coast is getting wet. That is common in So. Cal., but it rarely makes its way to my little world. If I can explain, Lake Havasu is the little indent on the left side of the AZ map. If you look at an AZ map, just about smack in the middle, left side, is an indent; that is Havasu. We are surrounded by mountains, and that is why we never get much weather here. It just kind of goes around us.
On to school now. When I read this question the very first thing that came to my mind was when the band Coldplay was accused of copyright infringements (plagiarism) of a Joe Satriani song he had written. I read a little bit about it, and Satriani is suing Coldplay for this. It is, as far as I can tell, still in the court system. I have heard both bands, and I think I would have to agree with Satriani. Especially because the lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, actually said:
" We're definitely good, but I don't think you can say we're that original. I regard us as being incredibly good plagiarists" (Permalink, nd). The problem that this is causing is a "prove it" issue; there are only so many cords on a guitar. It is the who says I did not write this sort of argument. I bet if you hear the two you would agree with me; however, it will now be up to the courts.
Thank you,
Lara

CC2 unit 4 blog: Q. #2
Morning everyone,
I managed to get my dogs temperature down, YEA! Now the antibiotics that my mother-in-law gave me, Orbek, will start to kick in and get rid of Rodgers infection. It is the Amoxicillin for dogs. I was lucky she had some; I cannot afford to take him to the doctor. Wish me luck with him.
On to school. As for question number 2, I kind of talked about that already. The person who copied me in DB. Well, I knew the teacher saw that; however, if someone did that to a paper or anything else that I had written I would first of all talk to an authority, or person who I had given it to with my permission to read or print it. Then with this or these people and I would confront the plagiarist. I would not do it alone, because they could just say it was their work. Always make sure you date, if need be time stamp, your work. Prevention first is best; if you have to take care of something like this do it in an organized manner.
Thank you,
Lara

Good evening everyone,
I really have not had the time to answer a question today. My dog, Rodger, has pneumonia. I have been kind of busy with him today. We gave him a bath about three days ago, he is a big furry golden retriever, and the temperature dropped like thirty degrees! As far a s we can figure his undercoat was still wet and he caught a cold . My dogs are not outside dogs. They are part of my family; it is just that we are used to really warm weather. This is strange, the cold I mean.
You guys have a nice night; I will get back to the questions for blog in the manana, with my DB post.
Have you noticed that morning in Spanish would be banana in English if you replaced the m? Sleep on it. :-)...
Thank you,
Lara
